GIVE

MESSAGES

From the Pulpit of

Harvest Baptist Church

Each week we are blessed with amazing truths from God's Word by Pastor Smith. God uses him in such a great way to impact the lives of the members of our church as well as those around the country and the world.

MINISTRIES

A Place For All To Serve and Be Served

Sunday School

One of the most exciting ministries at Harvest Baptist Church is the Sunday school ministry.  Over 40 small group Bible study classes are held for all ages. From nursery up to the Senior citizens we have classes ministering to the special needs of each age group. Sunday School starts at 9:45am before the morning worship service. It is a place and time where relationships can be built and the truth can be taught.

Bus Ministry

Every Saturday the bus ministry workers at Harvest go out into the highways and hedges and compel people to come to church. Not only do they compel them but they offer them transportation to the Sunday morning services. Buses run to the cities of Clarion, Eagle Grove, Webster City, Humboldt and Fort Dodge. Hundreds of boys and girls come to know Christ through this life-changing ministry. For more information on how you can ride a bus to Harvest Baptist Church call 515-955-3074.

Youth Ministry

There is a need for youth today to be challenged spiritually. Every Sunday teenagers assemble for Bible study and spiritual encouragement at 9:45am . We believe that young people are looking for something that is worth giving their lives to and for. Fun and exciting activities are provided for the teens at Harvest on a continual basis, but the emphasis is spiritual.

Nursing Home Ministry

A delightful time of worship and the Word is provided to eleven different nursing home facilities in three different counties through the Harvest Baptist Church. Music, preaching, and simply loving on these dear folk in their last days has come to provide hope for eternity to many of them.

Everyone can play an important role in this ministry through singing, teaching, preaching, visiting and loving on these dear people.

Ministry Leader

Prison Ministry

A week never goes by that the Harvest Baptist Prison and Jail ministries are not visiting and ministering to those who are incarcerated. Every Sunday, services are held at the Rockwell City Prison; every Tuesday and Friday evening services are held at the Fort Dodge Correctional Facility. Every Friday evening a Spanish service is held and every Saturday morning a Bible study class followed by a service are held at the Fort Dodge Facility. A lady’s out-reach to the county jail is held on a weekly basis.

Harvest Baptist Bible College

The Harvest Baptist Bible College has been preparing young men and women to serve the Lord since 1998. Graduates of HBBC are now serving all over America and around the world. Harvest Baptist Bible College was started by Pastor Smith as a faith-based ministry, therefore the charge to attend is very minimal.  There is not another college in America like HBBC; the emphasis on believing in God, intercessory prayer, living by faith, world-wide missions and spiritual warfare have drawn students from all over America to the college. Kids Clubs Ministry

Harvest Baptist Church assembles on Thursday evenings for its midweek service. The children of our church attend exciting Bible Clubs during this time. The three, four and five year olds attend the “Zacchaeus Club” which is specially designed for these little ones and their specific needs. The 1st - 6th grade boys and girls attend our 'Kids 4 Truth' program which is systematic theology for kids that teaches Bible doctrine.

Activities, singing and Bible lessons are part of the fun with many opportunities to earn awards for scripture memory. These clubs have over 50 boys and girls that attend each week. They are designed to minister spiritually to the children on their age level.

PRAY

At Harvest we take serious the call to establish “a house of prayer.” We are known for all that we do in our churches. We are known as soulwinning, bus, music, youth, school, college, nursing home and prison ministries, but Isaiah 56:7 said, “...for my  house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.”

The majority of the church has taken on the challenge to pray in their homes for every nation every month and for every family at Harvest every month.

Hundreds of people assemble monthly in nearly 100 scheduled prayer meetings to intercede to God for miracles to take place in people’s lives. You can be a part of the most important ministry at Harvest Baptist Church by attending and participating in the Intercessory Prayer Ministry at Harvest.

If you have a prayer request and would want your request to be lifted up by the intercessory prayer ministry at Harvest you can submit it here.

Click on the link below to download the app JPUnreached

Inside this app you will receive a daily country and person to lift up in prayer. It has the needs of the physical and spiritual needs of that country and how to pray for them.

MISSIONS

Our missions program is supported by those of the church with a burden to see this world come to Christ. Not only does Harvest send thousands of dollars per month to the foreign field for the use of evangelizing the world, but we also send missionaries to the world right out of the church. Harvest operates its own missions board that handles the support and ministry to its own missionaries. At present, we send support to over 40 missionaries worldwide!

Harvest Baptist Printing and Publications Ministry:

Psalm 68:11, “The Lord gave the Word, great was the company of those that published it.” In 1996 Harvest Baptist Printing and Publications began by printing and assembling a container of 200,000 John and Romans and 2 million Gospel tracts for the country of India. Since then we’ve printed over 17,000,000 pieces of scripture and materials in seven different languages for the countries of India, Mexico, Canada, Albania, Croatia, Philippians, Zambia, as well as throughout the United States of America.

Training, counseling, discipleship and other spiritual books and pamphlets are produced by the thousands through this encouraging ministry. The ministry does not charge foreign missionaries for printed materials. The printing is done as God supplies the paper and money to ship the containers. Literally millions have been saved and reached with the Gospel through this ministry.

JASON and RORY DOVER
Missionaries to Peru and Unreached People Groups:
Since 2008, they spent ten years in the Peruvian jungle church planting and training nationals , and taking many deep jungle expeditions to reach the most remote people where no missionary has gone before. Now based out of Harvest and continuing to work in Peru as well as many other countries around the world, Jason has been in well over a dozen countries doing anything and everything such as Evangelistic Exploit Expeditions to the un-contacted and un-evangelized, Pioneer Projects to research closed countries, teaching in Bible institutes, preaching in National Pastor's conferences, and strengthening the underground church in a safe house meeting. When in the States, they travel preaching missions conferences, recruiting laborers, and helping to train future generations of missionaries in venues such as the Ignite Conference, and the Beyond Borders extreme missions boot camp.  They specialize in the most difficult areas of the world where the last groups of people are waiting to hear the Gospel and "creative access" countries that are closed to traditional missions methods.

JORDAN and ABBY WEBB

Missionaries to St. Lucia:

Jordan and Abby Webb both surrendered to missions as children. Jordan received a degree in Missions from Harvest Baptist Bible College in 2014, the same year that Abby graduated with a degree in Education. They were married a month later. In 2016, following the counsel of their pastor, the Webbs went on a missions trip to St. Lucia. God used this trip to burden their hearts for the Caribbean. They spent another year preparing. Jordan earned his private pilot’s license and gained experience coaching volleyball at their local community college, while Abby taught in the Christian school. They started deputation in 2017 and plan to move to St. Lucia before the end of 2019. Their main goal is to partner with national pastors to reach and teach the people of the Caribbean.

DIVINE GRACE CARES:

Divine Grace Cares is a non-profit organization that is seeking to help all around the world. We are currently working in two countries: Haiti and Malawi, Africa. Our ministry, Divine Grace Cares, is currently supporting an orphanage in Haiti that has 40 children with the desire to continue to grow and reach more children. Divine Grace Cares is currently supporting 32 of these children on a monthly basis for $62 each, and is looking for more sponsors for the other children and for the future children. Divine Grace Cares, is in the beginning stages of working with a preschool in Malawi, Afirca. Where we will be helping build a Pre-school and a feeding center, along with digging a well to provide water to those in the community. The mission of Divine Grace Cares is to partner with those who are already on the ground, seeking to help with the needs of the people in their area. We want to provide the funds to be able to help with the needs of the people their communities. To learn more visit divinegraecares.com,
